Potato peeler

Besides vegetable-washers in which you can peel some vegetables for catering facilities, there have been produced specialized potato peelers that will help you to peel old and new root plants and potatoes. Potato peelers are designed on the basis of a friction principle between a plant surface and a rigid surface of the potato peeler, the type of which is determined by the density of external covering.
They are installed in industrial facilities. A rigid fixing 500-100 meters high is envisaged on a foundation bearer of a potato peeler. Engineering works also envisage protection of the potato peeler installation zone with a moisture-proof upstand 100 mm in height. Inside the protection of a potato peeler there will be built a sewage stairway not less than 100 mm in diameter.
Potato peeler is connected to the system of cold-water supply by means of a flexible hose. They are connected to electrical routes of communication in accordance with current rules for electrical installations. Potato peelers should have a separate protection from short-circuit failure and current surcharge. Potato peelers of different types have to be connected with a help of a hard or a flexible power point. After completion of installation works and commissioning operations carried out by specialized organizations, they are liable to no-load tests in accordance with the instructions set by manufacturing plants.
